Lars Helge Haß is GTAP Professor of Accounting and Finance at Strathclyde Business School at the University of Strathclyde (UK). He was previously at the Tippie College of Business at the University of Iowa (US) and Lancaster University Management School, Lancaster University (UK), which he joined as Assistant Professor in November 2011.

He holds a Ph.D. in Finance from WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management (DE), a M.Sc. in Computer Science from RWTH Aachen University (DE), a M.Sc. in Economics and a M.Sc. in Business Administration, both from the University of Hagen (DE). He has held visiting positions at KU Leuven (BE), University of Notre Dame (US), University of New South Wales (AU) and York University (CA) in the past.

His research interests include financial reporting, corporate finance, labor economics and innovation.
